Well, if you have no need for a powerful PC and don't pirate shit go for it. Personally, I've always preferred budget PCs over consoles because I believe "intellectual property" is a spook and it's more comfy to do programming/graphic design on a quasi-decent computer than on a shitty laptop.

But if you only play games and you're willing to buy them it's a good choice.

One of the big benefits of PCs is that even if you can't max the game, you can prioritize what you want. PS4 Pro and X1Xboner push fake 4K at the expense of everything else.

I've tried Dust 514 on ps4 with mouse and keyboard, it was even more unplayable than with a controller, and I cannot play fps with controllers.

Using a mid-tier GPU from 3 years ago has shown me that a lot of graphics options actually make the game look a lot worse. Hell, even Vsync can be terrible sometimes. I recall not being able to hit anything more than 10 feet away with Vsync on in Syndicate.

Vsync implementation varies wildl b game. In 99% of cases, it's better to disable it in every game and force it through GPU drivers, where the input lag is minimal.

That's the fucking problem. RX 580 PCs can run 4K60 easily, just turn off the meme settings and set everything except textures to medium. D44m looks great that way and plays really smooth.
