Great game. The fighting was fun.

Driving controls on PC were bad even with a gamepad (thanks to the fuckhuge deadzone), which kind of sucks, but I just used keyboard and mouse most of the time anyway.

As others have pointed out, there isn't that much "open world" stuff to do. (Collectibles? Fuck right off.) But not every game needs to be a sandbox, so whatever. Open worlds are overrated anyway. Play it as a linear game with a few optional quests, because that's pretty much what every open-world game is, when you take away the useless junk and novelty minigames.

The Bamham combat is boring as sin, but the real issue is the LEVEL DESIGN. Holy hell, the world is so repetitive and god damn flat and boring. Tunnels and hallways beget copy-pasted terraces and blocky unenterable buildings. No good shootouts can occur here. No good chases can take place. It's one tiny half-step-up from Driver 2 at best.

I finally got around to trying this a few months ago. It has potential to be great but it's just clunky as shit. It did remind me a lot of the old true crime games which are pretty cool. The only thing it does better than GTA V are the radio and having martial arts fighting. GTA does everything else much better
