Alicesoft has people working on the Rance games pro bono because they love the series so much. I think the music composer still works on the games despite being officially retired and making no money off of them because he believes the games just wouldn't be the same without his music, and I have to agree.

Undoubtedly this is the end of Rance's adventures, but we will definitely see games involving his children, possibly a game where you can choose your protagonist.
