The gossip concept seems like it'll be interesting. Will it only be gossip about the characters your playing as and give some insight to what the villagers actually think of the Sins or will it start at the start of the story with just Melodious and as you complete stages the villagers spread rumors of where the other Sins could be locked up, in hiding, etc.
Its got potential but we need to see more game play. I'm hoping its good though.

Considering the anime its based on is fucking garbage? No
And yes I did watch it. Ban is the only remotely decent character, everyone else is admittedly fun trash but the stakes of the plot are so inconsistently handled that nothing feels like it fucking matters.

The anime is pretty good in my opinion.

The manga is really good.

So my hopes for the game are for it to be at least adequate to finish it. I'd be happy to be more pleased with it but will not be disappointed at all if it's just as I think it will be.

It's pretty fun. I usally don't like stories where the main character/cast is completely overpowered off their bonkers from the start, but it feels right for me. The character are cool and interact with each other in fun ways, and most have legitimately sad backstories. Also for some reason I really like the artstyle.

Konami actually did it right with Nisekoi, they just made Tokimeki Memorial 5 with borrowed character designs and personalities and called it a day. Literally every ending in the game is more rewarding than the manga's, not to mention the after story DLCs too.

Unfortunately no. Nanatsu is basically a comfy, cute JRPG, the only acceptable adaptation for it will be an actual JRPG spanning across the entire manga.

In fact, Nakaba is a huge fan of old Square jrpgs and Xenogears left a huge impact on a story of NNT. He even had an interview together with Sakaguchi.
