It's meant to follow in line with Monaco's design in that it simplifies micro in order to focus more on macro. You effectively are a flag-bearer on the field that commands units who then follow you around and perform tasks.

It's supposed to be short-term RTS matches focused on multiplayer. There will be a singleplayer campaign though... I have good expectations
