Because Microsoft doesn't have enough games to do low budget titles and Nintendo is stuck with a one game per month process right now so they're stuck charging full price to make the Switch not seem like a worthless console

Sony recognized that Knack 2 was a sequel to an absolutely shit launch title. If they didn't cut it, I can't imagine anyone would've bought it.
Everybody's Golf seems like a cool game though, the price cut was smart.
