He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King.

It would also require either a lot of effort for her in general, which would take away tweet time, or allow other people to write for her, and the last time she did that it caused the cursed child.

I used to play on HOCZ.cz it was a Harry Potter online web browser text RPG.

You made a character with backstory that got approved. The term began in February I think. There were different chatrooms representing different parts of the castle. Adventures abound as players were enchouraged to make their own with the teachers being the storytellers describing the enviroment/extras/villans.

You had your power levels/skills determined by how well you do your homework. Teachers (old old players) made lessons in Demonology/ =Potions/Transfiguration/Magic Runes you enrolled in at the beginning of the year and at the end you had to write a creative research/essay/excersize about the subject. Creativity/Lore and making a complex system without plotholes was marked better - for example categorize "spells" , I made up Hexes, Charms, Cantrips, Curses, and Enchantments based on parameters of the spell = duration, target, intention and ..dont remeber.

Point is you would do creative shit and were either rewarded and it would get harder and harder to be original/sucessfull in getting good grades as time went by.

A term would last half a year, with time accelerated - from Feb to July I think.
It's actually still on.

It has a hardcore community and many people (mainly teachers) have been playing for years now.

Hogwarts is amazing, but shit like the minstry of magic, the magical hospital and everything about the american wizard world was boring as fuck, and holy shit mundane and uncreative for a magic series. Hell even the life of graduates and normal magic families seems boring, like they go to work, send their kids away, read the daily prophet and watch quidditch and stuff.

Honestly the only way I see to make the HP world interesting would be to set it during the founders' time or something like the 19th century, to make it more wondrous and exotic. Otherwise you just get hogwarts and urban magic england.
