This game is really putting me on the fence.

In the one hand, it looks really stiff with the enemy movements and i wished you could interact with the environment more so it doesn't feel so much like a souls/Bourne clone (it feels more like Bloombounre but it's not as fast paced so it's back to dark souls. Idk, it just feels weird)

In the other hand. Some of the attack animations are pretty cool. The enemies are pretty rad looking too and I just dig the weaponry and face mask things. Like something out of Tokyo ghoul.

I have nothing to support my claim but I'm pretty confident your form of progression will be in the form of something like Bloodgems from Bloodborne, except instead of boosting the weapon you slot them into they'll affect your character and weapons will have their own upgrade system.

Clothes will just be fashion, mobility/roll type will be determined by what weapon you're wielding, equipment that actually affects you statwise/mechanically will be invisible (like bloodgems or class mods from Borderlands, etc).

Again no source but I'm 90% sure it'll work at least similar to that.
