It's just half assed. It looks like shit aesthetically, the screen is too small, the buttons are placed weirdly, you have only mono sound, it's slow and SNES games emulate like shit. For the price it's still good and it's the reason I bought it to begin with but after a while I just found one thing that annoyed me after another. Ultimately it's the poorfag option and that's all it is.

I can already play GBA, and the XL is total trash. The screen is just stretched and it shows in a lot of games and it's a bitch on the hands and fuck that dpad location.

No. because the 3ds is the most uncomfortable system ive ever held for any dpad based game. i even have small hands and its still absolutely crippling to play anything with dpad movement. i would take a 2ds though

Well if you're comfortably playing in your room it probably will not be enjoyable unless you like hard as shit games.
In my case my family had dragged me to a restaurant and at the time there was a conversation going on that I didn't want to hear, so I just put on my earphones with music and played the shit out of that game. As frustrating as it was supposed to be I actually enjoyed it because it helped me distract myself.
