I thought it was great. It splits the game up into individual levels but keeps a barebones story about some animal people running a cleaning company. Weapon upgrades are still a thing, they're currency based and permanent now. The game is short enough to beat in an afternoon but it's quite replayable (I think it has 3 difficulties and a boss rush mode now)
