At best hackers would have been able to create some worthless homebrew and emulators that would only work on other dev systems. It would be completely useless for piracy because you still need an entry point for systems without developer mode.

Also worth reading up on the Switches security. Even if an entrypoint is found, you aren't going to be playing shit after Nintendo releases a firmware update.
