When does Federation Force take place in the plotline? There is no reference to the Phazon Crisis so it must be after, right? Not to mention the Sylux aftercredits. I'm trying to figure out where they could go with a post-phazon plotline

I wouldn't mind that as long as they know how to make it fit the game. However to design the game around one perspective, and then slap on the ability to flip flop, there could be serious problems.

Another concept that is kinda hard to say. On one hand the "scanning" in AM2R, where killing an enemy imediately gave you it's info is quick and satisfying, but on the other hand a lot of people like to use scanning as a way to slow the pace down for a second and do some lore reading. The benefit of it was always that it was totally optional for people who didn't think it was worth it

I kinda hope that it will do an mgs and tie the Prime series with Metroid 2 so that the future installments won't be crippled by it.
I also hope for some actual bounties to hunt as side quests that can earn you goodies missiles or energy tanks

I hope Sylux is just dicking you over constantly. I also think it would be cool if he becomes more monstrous in appearance over the course of his time in the new Prime games. Like whatever he's experimenting with fucks him up as he goes on. He's the most exciting element here for me. Metroid was all about that isolation atmosphere but Sylux dogging you feels like this character with agency throwing a wrench in your plans. It's different from Dark Samus since she's this otherworldly entity that can't be reasoned with.

I hope that it is a great game that makes me want to cum when I play it.
And I hope that the speed/completion reward is a post-credits shower scene.

It's been so long since Prime 3 that I'd be 100% okay with just getting more of the same. Make good interconnected labyrinthine maps. Have cool powerups. Make sure to have really cool and unique aesthetics/settings/music.

And perhaps this isn't right for Prime 4, but I'd like to see a 3rd person 3D metroid game done right. Prime is great, but having it in first person makes it harder to have that sense of vertical level design and acrobatic movement that you have in the 2D games. Although I suppose it's possible for them to do more advanced platforming stuff in first person if they mimic something like Mirror's Edge.

ONE single planet

I hated how every prime game after 2 has you flying around from planet to planet. It takes away from the dread of the series knowing Samus could hypothetically just fly away if things get too bad.

Everyone hates metroid fusion but it was my favourite when I was growing up.

I only had GBA SP though, so I understand maybe you liked ability to explore more. At the age I was fusion was plenty hard.

I would like this. Also kinda oriented to horror. Don't get me wrong, not a horror game but something creepier like Bloodborne not being a horror game but having the tone and setting.
Fusion kinda did it for me, but a Prime game, being first person and all, has a lot of potential.

Well I know what I don't want to see, namely having all abilities and being able to go everwhere from the start like a certain other game.

That being said I'd be fine with maybe one or two central "rooms" per area that are ridiculously huge. A bit more "planet" in your planet exploration can't hurt.

I would love to see the return of the Hunters formula where you could be randomly ambushed by another bounty Hunter or in this likely case, Sylux

Randomized encounters coupled with advanced enemy AI could add a whole nother layer to the Metroid formula.

Imagine having that little bit of paranoia while playing. Knowing that at any moment Sylux could jump you without warning.

Extremely exploration heavy, with the different areas being well designed on top of being great to look at. I'd like it to be on one planet again unlike 3, and that there's a good amount of new ideas on top of staples like the grapple beam and the spider ball tracks. Unique ways to explore and traverse areas and the like. Want some cool and inventive bosses as well.

I think they were to an extent. The rooms they appeared in were always the same. It was incredibly easy to predict.

If they were to go back to it I'd hope they change that. A narrow hallway showdown with Sylux because rng simply wasn't in your favor, or maybe he shows up right after you beat an area boss and you have the entire arena to take him down.

Since we have the advanced ai they could even take it a step further. Maybe he steals the item you earned after you beat the boss and now you need to track him down before progressing as you originally planned
