I want to upgrade to a R5 1500x and a gtx 1060. Should i? I'm

So a card that's just as powerful would be better than a 1060? And at the same time it would be an upgrade over a 380, while the 1060 wouldn't, even if it's on average ~2% behind the 580 and ~5% ahead of the 480.

1060 is fine, if you can get a 580 for msrp feel free to go for that.
A R5 1600 would be a better pick, but 1500x is fine. Alternatively you can just get a 4790k, even if you can't OC it's still a damn good CPU, plus you can keep your MB and RAM.

1500x is good but 1600 is the best value, you'll be happy with both but get 1600 if you can stretch a bit more

Ok, so far i have adjusted the 1500x to a 1600 since the price difference is only 25 bucks.
The difference however between the 580 and 1060 is quite minimal and the price difference is around 150 so i'll be going for the cheaper 1060 most likely.

You'd need to replace the entire motherboard to get the CPU to work. Just find a cheap, used i5 or even i7 from the same 4000-series, and enjoy great performance for the next 5+ years.

GTX 1060 6GB is 100% worth it. Just got mine last week, upgrading from the 6 years old GTX 560ti. Every game seems to run at steady 60fps, all Ultra'd, at 1920x1200.

I know i have to replace the motherboard, i'm getting a an ASRock A320M Pro 4. To be honest it seems like i'm off cheaper with this and a 1600 than a second hand i7 somewhere. They go up to 380 bucks real fast while spending 288 on new mobo and cpu this way.

I'd personally just find a good deal on an i5's K-model. My good ol' i5 2500 (non-K) has yet to bottleneck ANYTHING, and later on I'll prolly swap it for the 3000-series' i7 (it uses same socket).

I forgot about needing to upgrade ram aswell and it's becoming too much with that included.

well overall I think the non-k i7 would be way better and overall a cheaper upgrade than something else considering all the newer systems nowadays are DDR4.
