Yeah, there's the "AM 69", the game's universes counterpart to the M16, which also has an underbarrel attachment GL.

For reasons unknown, MGS5 games stopped using real weapons and vehicles, and instead decided to go with franken-weapons, that are still quite realistic and as if spliced together from numerous IRL weapons. The AM69 is very much like the SAR-180, an AR-18 variant of sorts.

What games give me an m16 and a free fire zone?

I think it was to allow for the ridiculous gun customization that you could do.
Most gun companies don't want their product to be spliced together in a Frankenstein esque mishmash with a different companies product.

That's apparently one of the main reasons.
The other, I hear, was some fancy deal Konami did with some airsoft gun manufacturer, that was supposed to make working airsoft replicas of MGSV's weapons. That never happened though.
