1 year later, what do you think of this game? Is it finally good

Patches came out when game already had all the nails on it's coffin.

It's not even a case of devs getting too excited with stuff they want to put in their game, it's just straight-up lying. Boycott it or you're everything wrong with the industry.

It's a lot better that it was at the launch.
But still not worth the current price tag.

you mean is it finally good after the gamer circlejerk has died down? it's basically the same thing as subnautica except in space. it only received the hate it got because gamers got angry when it wasn't an mmorpg with a never ending randomly generated world.

Still has lots of bugs, but they seem to be working hard on all of them. I think a lot of developers would have cut their losses and dropped all support of their game if they were in the same position. It's probably one of my favorite games in recent years, but it still takes hefty amount of autism to deal with some of the repetition the game requires.

It's a shit game, but it seems like their meltdown was so nuclear that they're forcing the rest of the industry to be more honest, or risk getting compared to them. I'm looking at you, Star Citizen.
