I think the game will either sink or swim depending on it's fighting mechanics and the size of the battles. The trailer hypes the story up too be this epic battle at the end with massive forces going against one another, and i'll be pissed if the reality is a half a dozen plebs wailing on you in a scripted "battle" sequence.
