I really wouldn't care if the game did get ported later down the line. All I really care about is a new no more heroes game coming out soon. Suda said that he was working on NMH on thw wii u, but nothing happened. At least now, we know he is working on something that will come out.

Honestly I'd say don't count on it. Suda has a very casual way of speaking to interviewers and there have been times he has had to correct things in subsequent interviews after being misunderstood. He's also bringing up putting Travis in Smash Bros in every other interview lately.

This is probably Suda's attempt to beg Nintendo for Travis to be in Smash 5 by saying he'll keep it and its sequel as a switch exclusive if Travis gets in Smash.

Travis's story was wrapped up pretty well in 2. Where does the story have left to go?

Suda isn't that blatant or greedy.
He does really want Travis in Smash though. In February he said he was going to beg Sakurai until Travis was in Smash since they're close friends, and he wouldn't take no for an answer.
So this is probably just another card on the table for him.
