Well FO4 has by far the best combat and more interesting level design so its better than 3 and nv by default. If nv is trying to do its own thing then its failing miserably because it kept the absolutely piss poor gameplay of 3 and made the exploration even worse which isnt something better build variety and quests can make up for.

obviously fallout 3/4 is going to have better exploration and moment to moment gameplay if they're not interesting in internal consistency

the reason people still argue about the lore and factions in new vegas is because it made all of those concessions in terms of being "fun" so that it left a better overall impression, if you stop to think about it for a few minutes it doesn't logically fall apart, it gets better

there's no point comparing nv to the other games because it's obviously better at what it does and worse at what the other games do
