"From the shore it is hard to tell what is city and what is Palace, for it all rises from the islands of the lake towards the sky in a stretch of gold. Whole neighborhoods rest on the jeweled bridges that connect the islands together. Gondolas and river-ships sail along the watery avenues of its flooded lower dwellings. Moth-priests walk by in a cloud of ancestors; House Guards hold exceptionally long daikatanas crossed at intersections, adorned with ribbons and dragon-flags; and the newly arrived Western legionnaires sweat in the humid air. The river mouth is tainted red from the tinmi soil of the shore, and river dragons rust their hides in its waters. The thing with Witcher is that it has really low interactability with the world, which works perfectly for the Witcher games, but I am not sure if TES NPC's with their pathfinding and buildings with insides and stuff like that would work properly at that side without killing consoles.

Not that it matters. The PGE1 laid the foundation of modern TES lore and everything written on it was the canon until Oblivion fucked everything up.

I don't care about the jungle retcon. In fact, I think it was a good choice. I want to know where fucking everything else went. Where is the cultural difference between Nibenese and Colovians? Where is the Akaviri influence? Why is the Nibenay suddenly the poorest region in Cyrodiil, contradicting every piece of previously established lore? Why does the Imperial City look like fucking shit? Why were cities suddenly removed from Cyrodiil when they existed 2 years before? Where are the thousands of different religions and cults? Where are all the moth priests? Why is Mithril back?

Why did Bethesda make one of the most massive lore rapes in existence and replace it with generic LOTRland so it could profit from more shekels?

It was written 200 to 300 years before Morrowind, but that is completely irrelevant because people in Morrowind Era claim the same information regarding how Cyrodiil and Imperial City looks.
Also, the city couldn't just turn from a giant mega bridge structure covering multiple rivers into a fucking shitty brickwall structure with not a single river going through it.

Entirely fair. I do find that, at least in Oblivion, OCR is pretty well supported now by most mods. I've got a standard, stable modded version for archive that's built on it and it works great. But we may also use different mods.

I actually prefer Witcher's city design to Bethesda's these days. Morrowind was the best, but insistence on VA has had a deep impact in how they populate their world - for the worse.

Novigrad - hell, any city in 3 - despite most of the population being randos felt more like a living, breathing city of interest than anything Beth has made in the past decade.
