Yes, homebrew is godlike and you have the 3ds library + ds library, and emulation if you like.

Yes, it has an amazing library of games, I don't own one anymore but if you can hax0rz it, it's worth the buy, absolutely. Try finding one for cheap on eBay or something, not worth the full price considering all the great games that are on the horizon for the switch.
