What is the best controller to hook to my PC for certain videogames

I use a DS2 with an inpin adapter. For ease of use grab a 360 or bone controller.

I've found the Xbox One or Xbox 360 controllers easiest to use with emulators and standard PC games.

Microsoft 360 pad wired or Xbox One later models that have data over USB.
Both are good but I prefer the One controller, but it's more expensive.

i use a wiiU pro with one of these
easily my favourite controller
just find the controller you like the most and use it, its one of the good bits about pc

xbox 360, xbone, or steam controller
DS controllers are nice but aren't easily compatible with windows

Dualshocks are shit, and even developers agree when most take the fire/ADS button from the triggers to the bumpers.

If anything, Playstation does a better job of that, at least if your thumbs rest on the camera controls, like they should. Why would you want one thumb sitting top left, while the other is bottom right?

It's because the pads on the PCB are shit and if you drop they detach from the PCB and stop working easily. Doesn't help they use shitty lead-free solder because of (((RoHS))) compliancy.

Most games your thumbs rest on both the sticks by default so tell me how on earth this can be true when the sticks on the Xbox are asymmetrical.

Steam controller is cheap as fuck right now and is pretty nice if you have gorilla hands like me.

I prefer/have been using my DS4 since I built my pc earlier this year, but I've been thinking about getting a second pad so that I don't have to run across the house if I leave my current one in the other room.

Is the xbone s better than the elite? Paying anywhere over $60 for a controller sounds retarded but I have some money to burn. I just want something as comfy as my old DS3

I did too, and I can't go back after Xbox, especially after growing up

The sticks are too close together and the little plastic nubs you hold onto are way too small. It's designed for either Japanese men or American children. I prefer controllers that actually fill your hands like n64 and original xboz

I liked the SNES, PS1-3 & XBOX Orig & 360 controllers the most, didn't mind N64 and fucking hated the gamecube controller.

I use my PS4 controller when the mood takes me along with DS4 Windows and a Mini-USB cable now a days.

I'd love to go back to a 360/BoxHEUGE controller tho but fuck paying 60$ for a controller
