You will regret it. I'm not even a jaded fuck or a weeb who hates all western games for existing. Destiny 1 was a grind fest with very shallow gameplay. After a week of playing you will have already experienced everything the game has to offer, same as 1. In 1 at least there was a few months when everything was free from micro transactions and silly nonsense in the form of redditor humor and Nathan Fillion jokes, but now 2 is going to hit the ground running in these aspects.

The game will only have 5 strikes and 1 raid iirc, and for reference, destiny one ended with only 3 raids however after reaching a certain level there is literally no reason to play any raid besides the last one since the way they scale the game is DLC 3 gear > DLC 2 gear > DLC 1 gear > Base Game gear with little to no effort of revamping or reworking older gear or missions to be relevant ever again.

You will play a mission/raid, get a reward, then replay it ad nauseum until you either quit from fatigue or get the full gear set you wanted, but the gear itself doesn't do much for you since the only thing besides doing raids is PvP where they balance everything out by watering it all down anyway.

The season pass will only cover the shitty throw away DLCs that will add irrelevant items and quests because Bungie will, again, release a stand alone expansion that actually offers a chunk of the game that should've been included in the base game. Don't want to buy it? The only alternative is sticking with the base game that glaringly feels stripped, empty and lacking as you're forced to do the same things over and over.

Tl;dr it's a grind fest with little to no content bloated with jewish AAA practices. You'll regret it

I don't think there is much reason to get Destiny 2 at all. Bungie learned no lessons from vanilla Destiny 1 except with regard to the campaign story which they already fucked up with. I think what unsold me on the game is the lack of strikes and the exotics being weak as fuck. Knowing Bungie all the equipment will just get even WEAKER.

Bungie stated to get 60fps they would have to cut back on the environment(size and detail) and the amount of moving objects(enemies, platforms, even grenades). Hence why they limit it to 30fps to atleast keep it somewhat stable except for edge cases.

Playing Destiny 2 in 60 fps is such a fucking game changer after having to play it on PS4 at 30fps that I will wait 2 months for the PC version. It was that that fucking good. By then theyll have ironed out all the launch problems, the raid will be in day one and the wait betwen launch and the first expansion will be shorter.

The only reason to play on consoles is if thats where all your friends are and if you really need those crossover rewards youre going to storage or destroy right away anyways.

It's a meme made by Warframe shills. The game is much closer to Borderlands in the loot concept. It's not at all like Warframe. Basically, as a Destiny 1 vet, if you like the MMO core gameplay (do same-ish quests daily, weekly, meet other people) and love the loot game (RNGesus be with you), pick it up. Gunplay is what holds this thing together. If not, don't bother. It's the kind of game that seems like shit when you describe it, but is addictive and fun when you give it a shot. Ignore most of /v/ posts though, 99% of them never played it and hate it because it is popular. Some good arguments are it's boring and casual. Anything past that tends to be contrarian shitposting. Also it's very chill. PVP and PVE are great, you won't really find yourself raging because how fun it and simple it is.

I think that's where I feel I might have problems with Destiny. Warframe has all these overly-complicated systems that I got good at and now enjoy, for example, take the movement system. In order to go decently fast, you have to constantly be doing slides, into bullet jumps, into doublejumps and glides, into rolls, back into slides. Just from movement alone I'm going to really miss that when going into "you slowly walk around and do floaty jumps so you better do the old stop 'n pop ".

The game has good gunplay because the console version has a ton of under the hood aim assist and magnetism that makes it possible for even really bad players to hit shots. Bungie is really, really good at adding in that stuff without it being super obvious to the player that he's being given a big helping hand.

That's also why no one really said anything about gunplay after the pc beta because when you play it with m+kb you can tell the gunplay isn't much different from other games

I played it on PC with m+kb and the gunplay felt great, even without any aim assist. Guns had a lot of punch, the sound was great and the way enemies fell over when they died felt fantastic.

Also they are using Blizzards services for PC and their anticheat has wiped shitloads of people off Overwatch, and with blizzard being more than happy to launch lawsuits against people that make them, the cheaters will be a lot less common. Tied to the fact blizzard has a history of hardware banning, so even if your secondary $60 account is banned your main won't be able to launch the game on the same PC.
