What I got was a neat little FPS, that is nothing like it's namesake.

This game feels closer to something like Serious Sam or Painkiller. Which I wouldn't expect anyone who likes D44m to know because they just started playing video games in 2011

Honestly all they had to do was NOT make a majority of the action take place in arenas with randomly spawning enemies.

This isn't moving forward. It's a literal step back from what the first three games established

Take the goggles off bro, Doom 1 had an even more basic spawn system and there were times were there were plenty that literally spawn right in your fucking face. You can shot on Doom 4s spawning and arenas all day but anyone can tell you their and upgrade from enemies popping literally out of nowhere and arenas > then hallways. Sorry friendo.

What a fucking nitpick. It was a fantastic game that had 90% of what the non-casual audience has been asking for for years, but of course it's not good enough because the enemy placement isn't exactly what you wanted.
