>You sign up and tell the game makers about some personal goals you have
>They turn them into tasks you can complete to upgrade your stats/skills
>Every weekend you meet up with members of your party at a warehouse that turns into a labyrinth when you put on VR gear
>Every time you come into contact with an enemy, you're automatically transported to a battle field that takes up a huge portion of the warehouse, where you battle in real-time, forcing you to coordinate strategy and tactics with your allies
>Occasionally at designated "free times" you'll meet an actor IRL or through text messages that you interact with for more stat upgrades and to deepen the story
>If your party does well enough over a 3-month period, you're treated to a True Final Boss battle and an ending "cutscene" that sums up your experiences and the story; otherwise, you get a normal final boss and a rundown of what you could have done better

Also you charge like $5k per person for the experience.
