Why do many action RPGs feel the need to include redundant skills, like speech, intelligence, accuracy, luck, etc? Why does anyone get invested with annoying, silly RNG stats, that only merely give the illusion of depth? Why not just let the player be accurate/intelligent/etc on their own accord, without the nonsense dicerolls?
