I already beat ZHP and the first Prinny game. They're great, but I just feel like playing a SRPG of the same vein.

Can anyone tell me if the PC ports have any specific advantage over emulating them?

PC versions include all DLC or bonus features added in rerelease. There's some added graphic settings which look terrible so turn those off. Community mod Pretty Prinny adds extra settings windowed mode that kind of shit. If you want to play all the games start with first. Second is mostly improvements to the first. PS3 emulation can run Disgaea 3 and 4 pretty good with a tweak they made.

Play 1 first because it's a good game but it will also feel really dated if you go back to it after playing the later ones first.

Decided to get Disgaea PC and ClaDun X2 instead of Disgaea 2 PC since I found a sale for them. I'll probably pick up Disgaea 2 some time if I like the first enough. Thanks doods.

Been trying to finally finish D1, my firet Disgaea. I'm at Episode 11 and my ass is getting handed to me. Any tips for making grinding less tedious?
