Finally going to start playing the Ys series after buying all of them past couple years without even playing any of them yet.
What difficulties are the best for each game? Specifically want to know for pic related since I'm starting with this.
Also, should I pick complete or Chronicles and should I use the Chronicles music or the complete music?

With the first two games, it really isn't worth doing high difficulty for your first playthrough. The bosses are frustrating enough on normal. Music and artstyle are completely up to preference, though I wish the PC-Engine OST was available for this version of the game.

1st 2 games are wildly different than the others.

Ignore the fags who tell you to start with nightmare. That being said, do make sure to eventually do nightmare mode for all the games.

I like the complete music myself.
