How do one get good in higher difficulties?

>get the fastest car
>handling become impossible to manage without crashing everywhere and losing speed
>when you lose speed you get fucked in the ass and ends up in 6-10th

>get the car with highest accel stat
>not fast enough to keep up with opponents
>ends up in 6-10th

>get a balanced car
>won't perform good enough in either speed or accel.
>ends up in 6-10th
