It's a project that would need around a 40 mil budget to be even close in quality to the source material.
What images I've seen so far, it might as well be some shovelware from 2008.
I'd love it to work but this REALLY shouldn't be a kickstarted indie game.

I went ahead and pledged 25 bucks. I don't even know if they'll ever actually reach their goal and take my money, but I don't mind paying $25 for it even if it isn't good.
