Listen, I like Kirby games, but why? Why do I like them? Why do people say they have good level design? Look at this shit, it's fucking blocks and slopes. People say it has good character designs, most characters are just spheres, and enemies are just random cartoon yellow birds or chickens. The series is easy as fuck. The music is good but not "listen to it on my mp3 player" good
Why is this series as likeable as it is? Are copy powers the only thing salvaging the series?

Because you like cute things doing cute things

>Cute involves a vaccuming cute thing sucking up other cute things, and either spitting them back out as a firey start to obliterate other enemies, or mimic them, mocking them in a sense and allowing your death to lead to others' demises
I used to like these games a LOT when I was a kid, Superstar still has huge nostalgic value for me. Nowadays though they bore me quite a bit because of how easy and slow they usually are but it's clearly meant for younger people anyway.

Kirby is the marshmallow of video games.

It's pretty good for people who are just starting out getting into video games. When my girlfriend expressed an interest in them Kirby Super Star was actually the first one we played together and she loved it.

literally level one
come on, nigger

Every damn level is like this. It's just blocks and slopes. It's not like level design is relevant to the series because you can just float infinitely, I don't know why you'd even try to defend it
