Are there any games (worth playing) that feature gay characters

No theres no "normal" games with a gay character or gay romance without it being optional.

Especially self-hating gays sympathize with this because they deep down think being gay is shameful to the rest of society and they are concerned with what people think. So a video game character who isn't afraid to speak about them being gay or their gay relationship is seems outlandish and "loud" even though its exactly normal as any straight love interest in every video game ever fucking made.

I totally disagree - any character in games is considered straight until otherwise shown, which is what happens with Arcade. He mentions a couple times about how he's gay regardless of whether you choose the gay trait or not, and his gayness doesn't define him, much like how every other character's straightness doesn't define them (outside of some obnoxious examples of girl-fuckin' fragile masculinity characters). I'm gay, married to a dude, and I get annoyed as hell with any media where gay characters are defined by the fact that they're gay... since most human gays don't do this (outside of the visual, horrible, stupid dirtygays that everyone hates).
