There comes a point when not being able to skip the shitty story stuff is a detriment to replayability. It's the same with Ocarina of Time. That opening hour is just full of unskippable UUURRRGH that isn't particularly interesting the first time let alone the 20th. Unskippable exposition should be a criminal offense.
