Times are changing man, games have to deliver a competitive and engaging system to retain customers, and Nexon is not as horrible as you think, just because you got cucked in MS or some other mmo doesn't mean they handle every game the same, specially in Korea they're very respected and they're not as jewy. Honestly, my complaint isn't just that it's being censored, it's that they're wasting their time with splash art and boob jiggle when they should be tweaking the game to make it enjoyable. Ranged characters absolutely dominate in the early game, kills are easily escapable unless someone ganks from behind, towers are either too close together or their range is just too long, jumping has no real purpose since you can't use skills while airborne.
There's plenty of shit they could be tweaking instead of focusing on art assets that aren't even worth changing.

Art and balance are completly unrelated in the workflow chain, I don't think having the artist do a 2 hour retouch to cover some boobs would hinder any progress on the rest of the game, except maybe making new character art.

This is also some effort by the localization team, they're not the devs, they just translate shit and modify the itnerface so the rest of the world can play a global version, the actual mechanics and balancing stuff only happens in korea, which doesn't give any fuck what the global market thinks about the game.

The changing of the portraits in the original version is likely because of the "esports" meme, everyone wants their game to be "esports" friendly so they can tell the investors their game is the next League/overwatch etc.

2) before the game even starts INFORM the player of the content and of their ability to CHOOSE TO TURN IT OFF and give them the option THEN AND THERE to turn it off or leave it on (or vice versa if the devs think it'll increase sales or some shit)

last thing they can do is check the number of players who have it turned on vs those who have it turned off so they can determine for themselves who the retards are and their numbers

if the devs cant even be assed to code in an literal on/off button then that is just indicative of how much they care for their product, their customers and their entitlement to monetary compensation for their work
