It's still suffers from the "memorise where enemies spawns and placements", but the levels are designed to filled with rooms and cover so you're naturally just slide gracefully from cover to cover.

Excellent taste, I really need to replay Max Payne 1 and 2.

I'm nearly through replaying Half Life 2 and while I'm liking it the game it's not nearly as good as I remember it. The start and the sewer areas are alright, and I genuinley liked the airboat and highway segments, but Nova Prospect is fairly dull and basically has you repeating the same situations multiple times throughout its duration. Gonna do the City 17 retake now and after I beat the game I'll move onto Max Payne, or NOLF, or BloodGDX.

Also someone really needs to make a chart of noteworthy 90s and 2000s FPS games and sort them by genre. These threads always have a fuckton of posts and I can never remember the bulk of them.
