Matching 5 strangers together in a team game with rigid rules is inherently flawed. Play football or basket ball like that and see what happens.

Like what >>389098421 said, HOTS tries to solve the randoms problem by making it harder to fuck everything up. Still run into the same problems at the end of the day though.

It's a genre best enjoyed with friends or at LAN parties, that's the only reason the original DoTA took off in the first place.
