Just about everything you listed there is a valid point. I don't have a particular answers or great explanation, just that I still enjoy Splatoon when I play it. That's really it. The game would undoubtedly be improved by getting rid of at least the first four points on your list, but the end result is a game that I enjoy even without those improvements so I stick with it.
