I've played both and I just can't see it. Overwatch is far from perfect but I feel like it's much better than Paladins is.

The one thing I will say that's nice about Paladins is that the Tanks and Healers as a whole are more enjoyable to play than Overwatch, where half of them aren't viable to pick at all, but all of the damage characters are better in Overwatch, as well as Zenyatta. It's also just a tad frustrating in Paladins being forced to pick Tank/Healer 100% of the time because everyone wants to go 4 flanks, even if I do enjoy those characters.

The only character I really enjoyed in Overwatch was Winston, as sad as that is. That said I do think that Ana and Zenyatta are pretty cool character designs. Everyone else is just kind of lame. Mei and Tracer get dick points though.

Production values for Paladins is just awful. It really shows that it is F2P. The graphics, the textures, the physics, the satisfaction of firing something, the sound design, the movement, etc.. all feel so cheap and unsatisfying. Overwatch has all of these, but is ruined by terrible base design and ESPECIALLY terrible map design. Paladins is a better game without a doubt mechanically, but it just isn't appealing like Overwatch is. The Blizzard production values are almost unmatched in general.

I wanted to try paladins but that card mechanic is really turning me off and I think later on that thing will make me suffer more than getting money for overwatch and downloading it, just like dota and lol, I really wanted to try lol but all those runes and shit just feel like your game depend a lot on outside factors too and account growth rather than whole game depend on the game you start,

Paladins would be great if it had any sort of half decent feedback at all, the guns feel like shit, shooting people feels like shit, taking damage does nothing, no connection to the game world, no physicality what so ever just a hover view point that glides around the game.

Only if you're a completionist, play 3-4 games you can get enough essence to get a loadout for the champ of your choosing along with enough gold for a new champion. cards only give enough bonuses to change your play style so it can cater to you, there are rare times when a card becomes game breaking but the devs quickly fix it in the following patch and the patches are bi-weekly

This is a touch and go thing. I think some characters do well and some are shit at it, both games have this issue

The Overwatch dev team added a small but powerful detail, in that that way characters move seems more life-like through small signals in their body language; For example, Lucio's free hand paces back and forth, because of how he skates everywhere. Junkrat's gun slowly raises and then swiftly drops back down, to remind you he has a peg leg.

Even though barely any other game has thought to do this, almost as if it's not important at all, Overwatch players jerk themselves off about it and now feel like it's an essential part of a game. You'll find them saying dumb shit like "no phsyicality" and "no connection to the game world", like they're in Spy Kids 3

I mean Makoa, the character with the hook holds his hook in his left hand. That means that you could hook behind corners of you do it with the left side. But if you hooked peeking from the right you'd hit the wall.
