I'm okay with this because my favourite series is .hack// and both series have had 4 volumes and 3 volumes respectively (now a 4th volume coming with the HD remake).

FF7 desperately needed a remake. It's an incredibly popular game, but changing the battle system was a big mistake.

FF7 just needs a visual update and a better translation. Its kind of embarrassing how people regard this to be one of the better games ever made and the characters sport some mean block hands and face.

A re imagining of the game is interesting however no one asked for it. There is no way game design in 2017 will be able to adapt stuff like >>388989129 and if it did it would be butchered or behind a paywall.

Recently played through FFVII
It's really not that great of a game. Not cause it's old but it's just so boring after Midgar. It really doesn't pick up at all.

I can't wait for the inevitable Chocobo Racing and KoTR DLC bundle.

yep. I always believed that SE would only remake this if they were financially at risk. It definitely just feels like a cash grab, and pulling the trigger too early.

it was a great game for it's time, which makes sense with all the hype. Edgy emo cloud from the movie and Kingdom Hearts only fueled the hype and brought in a lot of normies into the FFVII hype train. can't say it's a bad thing though

FFVII Midgar part was god tier

Reactor bombing, discovering the slums, honeybee, shinra tower and the bike escape were so good.

Worldmap was a mistake, it felt way too disconected after this part because of it.
