Maybe not but it's a close match. It's amazing how several anime titles end up so well. I mean, you look at the biggest titles in America, like GoT, or Walking Dead or Simpsons and the games are utter shit.
But anime like Bleach, Naruto, DBZ: all have pretty meh anime (if not shit), but the games are amazing.

Arkham Asylum is well above the other games in the series, but I think DBFZ might still be better than it. Of course the appeal of both the license and genre are lesser, but everything about DBFZ is trending to be awesome, while Asylum has a couple flaws.

An honorable mention should go to Transformers Devastation. System overload aside, that's a great game.

The only legit insult towards King Kong in this thread is that the Kong sections weren't as good as the human sections. They aren't bad but are just typical brawler gameplay. The human sections are where the game shines though.

It was so amazing. If you have ever played Doom and like the creature infighting mechanic, this turns it up to 11 mate. Entire mechanics based on creature infighting and distracting bigger beasts with other beasts to sneak past them as they fight. You also got very limited ammo so you mostly have to use spears and other sharp objects you can pick up just to defend yourself, or just hide and sneak around.

This, I tried playing King Kong and the main guy didn't even have any super powers, WTF!?!? I tried shooting a dinosaur and ran out of ammo and died, this is bad game design, why can't everything die in one shot and my guns have infinite ammo.

Game would have been better if you played as Batman and could fly like superman and you could punch t rexes to death but they couldn't even bite you because you had wolverine steel skin.
