I got a 128 gig SD card for $20 on sale.
It's not hard and if you're already buying consoles and games then you're probably not poor enough for this to be an issue.

It's unlikely to ever apply to first party games since they're so small. It's just bloated Western games that take up more than 8GB, which I guess is the smallest cartridge size, and they save a few pennies per cart by not opting for the larger size

Why are people flipping their shit about MicroSD when they're cheap and pretty much the industry standard for portable media storage nowadays? This isn't like the Vita where you basically had modified SD cards that serve as proprietary and exclusive memory, which Sony jacked up the prices for as a result.

60GB MicroSD is extremely affordable compared to any such equivalent for the Vita. It'd be stranger if any modern portable device you own DOESN'T use a MicroSD.

I do enjoy a good horror movie but we aren't talking about a movie here, we're talking about a game. There's a certain degree of freedom and exploration that a horror game absolutely needs that isn't present in Until Dawn.

Every game has to install to your hdd on PS4, if you buy physical on Switch you don't use any space except in rare instances like this. it actually ends up cheaper to manufacture all high end chips and shit and just not use the extra power in your device than maintain multiple production lines and keep making lower powered chips that are appropriately specced
