Is it even possible to play PS1 games on PSP with CFW? Or does it require a different method? I currently have a PSP with CFW but since I'm a brainlet I haven't figured out how to play my nostalgic PS1 games on it.

How do you go about playing a game with multiple discs?
Just get ppsspp on your smartphone and thats it. It runs everything flawlessly and its extremely easy to get any game you want. Also you can get a custom controller for it if you want your physical controls.
You do have a smartphone right? You arent a filthy smelly neet using his 17th birthday psp right?

back in the day you had to create a custom eboot file that combined the data of all the disks together.
now you just download it, fuckin moron

A single ps1 adapted ISO has a menu that lets you change disks. Same way as the PS1 games in the psn shop

Literally every ps1 game runs on the psp, flawlessly. However the limited controls can prevent some games from being played comfortably.
I think use the program psx2psp, download any ps1 image and convert, then slap it in the game folder. You can customize the image used and stuff with that program, so just get the covers off google.
