I don't get it bros. Why is Zelda not more popular than it is?

>greatest track record of accomplishments: Zelda 1 gave us nonlinearity and saving; ALttP gave us dual world switching; OoT gave us 24 hour gameplay, 3D lock-on, openworld gameplay; MM gave us a real-time based schedule, WW introduced miles-long procedural loading and cel-shading; etc. etc. etc.
>collective IQ of America and Japan has probably jumped up by at least 20 thanks to it. Even people who've never played them recognize certain types of puzzles as "Zelda-esque."

Did BotW managed to capture lightning in a bottle again? Yes, but people should be buying the Wii U and that version in droves when the Switch is scarce. If anything Zelda should have a containment board not Pokemon. So why does Nintendo have to try so hard to sell this series?
