Abe's Oddysee is one of my favourite games of all time. It is so well made, the graphics still hold up, and the difficulty is perfect and is great for replayability. You don't need to save everyone, but you can't save no one either.

New 'n Tasty was ok, but the atmosphere was severely fucked and it destroyed a lot of my enjoyment of it. Abe's Exoddus is still the best game in the series, it perfected Oddysee.

Hopefully Soulstorm doesn't fuck up. It's weird that they are literally giving zero information with the exception of the ARG they had.

The original two games had a really great atmosphere, the gloomy yet realistic scenarios and creatures made it feel so great even though most of the graphics was really pixelated. New 'n' Tasty changed the "realistic and gloomy" look for a "futuristic and bright" look which completely butchered it. For example rupture farms changed from a really dark and grim creature-butchering building to a futuristic sci-fi neon eyerape
