Did Nintendo and Capcom's relationship ever get any better or has it just stayed neutral for the past few years now? I feel like Capcom's going to pull the same shit with the Switch, where they say they'll support it but then disregard it. They worked closely on it and even got Nintendo to boost the ram, but the only thing we've seen from it so far is USF2 and MHXX, which is Japan exclusive.

Capcom have thrown Nintendo under the bus, they worked with them and Nintendo even boosted the specs of the Switch for them, and Capcom decided to give the Switch USF2 and said they wanted that to sell to see if there is going to be any more support, MHXX being a release of a (pretty much) release was bound to test Japan's limits on how much shit they would put up with buying, not to mention missing out on MHW with no MHXX coming to the west so no MH at all on the Switch for the majority of the world, and as far as I can remember they haven't confirmed anything for the Switch probably means Nintendo's patience is going to be near its limit with Capcom.

I like to think after thirty years or so the relationship has spoiled somewhat. Look at what Capcom refuses to port to the Switch nowadays, simple collection games such as Disney Afternoon, and Megaman aren't coming to the Switch despite those games originating on Nintendo consoles.
