I've played a lot of different f2ps and it just feels oddly more enjoyable than many of them.

I wish I could find a good game like this that's not WoW/Diablo/or some free2play anime cashgrab. Hell I don't mind anime graphics but tjust look at the UI in that picture. Fucking disgusting.

And Amalur is a great game, but I got into it way to late to enjoy it as other action rpgs spoiled me.

I put 250 hours into BDO as well. Game was fun and comfy I spent a lot of time doing trade routes, but theres no PvE or Dungeons really. And now they made the game too easy to where you can 1 shot most mobs and can stand in a pit and not take damage.

You wouldn't regret Aura, unless you bought a bunch of stuff, which you really shouldn't do until you're already well into any game and know you'll keep playing.

Aura is ok, pretty fun for mindless button mashing and fishing. Official is crap for waifu/pokemon collecting last I checked, better to play the private server.

Don't do it, Elysium has almost triple the population of vanilla servers at their cap. So you can forget about farming anything in the world, not to mention they meddled and even nerfed solo farming strats, including pickpocketing. 80% of the pop are chinks and ruskies, so you will have to really search for a group of english speakers. Forget about rolling horde too, all the best guilds horde-side left, all that remains are the aforementioned subhumans, and you WILL get fucked by alliance, at every turn. The staff has also been caught corroborating with gold sellers, they crack down hard on gold sellers that aren't their source so don't think its because they want to eradicate them. Hacking and botting is free-reign basically, staff does the minimum to halt their progress, even still there are numerous accounts of people seeing banned bots resurfacing. The scripts are mediocre as well, bugs that have existed since its launch are still present. Basically there are no good private servers out there, the scenes regressed to how it was before Nost.

Rift was nice during the time after it went free to play and before it went pay to win. Arguably the best WoW clone there is.

Black Desert is boring and has little to no content outside of killing mobs for quests and leveling professions. There's so little content even, that even something as mundane as interacting with NPCs has a system you need to grind for.

Blade & Soul is pretty rad, I like it.

I'm currently trying Archeage. Pretty much the only reason I'm still playing it is just to see what the end game pvp is like.

Aion is bland as fuck.

Allods is a slav shitshow.

We don't even need to talk about the current state of WoW.

I've not tried Final Fantasy. It looks far too weeb for my tastes, which is saying something since I can tolerate Blade & Soul.

I've not tried Guild Wars 2 either, but I hear it's shit compared to the first game.

Age of Conan was really fun, but I don't even think it's alive anymore.

I don't get why people say this. It only gets grindy after level 50. Till you get there you already know if you wanna keep playing no matter what.
Let's compare that to the rest of mmorpgs that have you waste a entire day to level up after level 20~30 like FFXIV and Archeage.

And BDO combat is so good that leveling up comes naturally for me.
