The first 3 years of the 360 were good.

Once 2008 came around and the blades interface was taken away; that's when 360 exclusives became the same 3 games every fucking year:

>some Forza game
>some Gears or Fable game, whatever one

Then Microsoft went all in on the casual market and Kinect. Kinect didn't catch on as well and a lot of the new exclusives were Kinectshit.

The only thing PS3 had over the 360 was the Bluray drive, but even then the 360 had streaming apps before the PS3 which undercut the need for a media drive for anything other than games.

Well, I was just using the "New Xbox Experience" as a launching point of when the 360 went to shit.

Microsoft from 2005-08 liked risking new and creative IPs, got decent exclusives. But then they started on focusing on what sells (Gears, Halo, Forza) and aiming for a market that was fleeting (casuals).

By 2009, Sony got their shit together, had a lot of exclusives (Uncharted, LBP, Resistance sequels, Demon's Souls, Ratchet & Clank), and a lot of first gen 360s were getting RROD.
