At first I was enjoying this game and wondered how anyone could've passed it up, but 300+ hours later I am glad it fucking failed

I will say, the campaign was great and I do like the idea of injecting more personality into the titans even though it cost them flexibility, but god damn the game is just frustrating when every single match is someone using the CAR with phase or stim as their tactical.

Game is awesomely faced paced still hasn't gotten old for me.
I'm generally the top player and dominate with the G2A5.
I cycle between TF2 BF1 Overwatch and Morrowind so I dont get bored of a game.

I've contributed to the playercount for almost a whole year fuck off with this shit, I was singing praises for this game when everyone was writing it off and laughing at it for failing but the point of the matter is the game did not really get better over time, you can even argue Frontier Defense in 2 is weaker than it was in 1.

Stay away from anything near AAA, especially for mutliplayer. I've had a lot of fun with Day of Infamy and RS2 Vietnam, despite a lot of flaws with the latter, and had a blast lately.

sure there's some goofy weapons that will put you down fast, the maps are weak in some aspects and titans are very locked in to a specific play style... but the game is fantastic, best shooter in a long time to be honest

Pilot gameplay is A+, the only thing I hate is the SMG meta but it's not bad enough that it matters more than player skill.
Titan gameplay however is boring. 1/3 into a match the titans start dropping and the rest of the match is all about titan fights, which is slow as shit and everyone just shoots from corners because that's safer

It's the opposite way around. Outside of Scorch, all the titans are on a pretty even field even though they all have "roles", but the only enjoyable part of pilot gameplay is going fast.
