No one gives a shit about the 3D Donkey Kong games while the modern Persona games are all what people care about but they are still in direct comparison in your list. Titles likle Jungle Beat and Donkey Konga are not even mentioned on /v/ on a yearly basis.

Persona 5 is also not back to its roots or a reimagination at all. It's way closer in style to 4 than anything else.
