Good. Always liked it.
Compared to 1-3, its gameplay and pacing is vastly different, and some corners of it feel a bit rushed... but overall it has a fascinating plot and some of the creepiest ideas of the entire series.

it's still one of the more controversial games of the saga as well, but compared to all the horrible western shit we've had to deal with after SH4... it feels like a goddamn masterpiece.

Liked the second one. Atmospheric and spooky. Seen some footage and stuff about 1 and 3 as well, and they seem quite the same, slight differences, with #2 being the usual fan-favorite.

Great if you don't think of it as a silent hill game. It's a horror game with similar gameplay as the others but you'll be scratching your head wondering what silent hill has to do with this game.

The answer is nothing. It was just a cash in with cheap references thrown in at the last minute so they could name it Silent Hill 4. If you go in knowing that you'll probably like it.

Personally I think it's the second best game in the series, behind 2.

Pcsx2 is buggy as fuck. It's only recently that they started getting games like Ace Combat or Ratchet & Clank working without crippling texture bugs. With a PS1 or a Gamecube there's no reason not to emulate, but PS2 just isn't there yet.

How did Silent Hill use it? I was only thinking MGS and there are only 2 games there(and it's not needed) and you can use your DS3 or DS2 to have access to it. You don't have an argument here. If you have a PS2 or 3 you have a pressure sensitive controller you can use for emulation.

Timesplitters is the best console shooter there has ever been imo.

Graphics are umpolished as fuck and the story is non-existant, but the gameplay is superb and the music is quite good.
About the gameplay, it has a heavy focus on dodges, reads and 1v1 fighting, and im being totally honest here, I think it's the closest we have for a Dark Souls of beat em ups
