Feast your eyes on this crispy smooth 60fps Evil Within 2 footage, running on the PC

I have zero faith in this. First game DLCs already felt like western garbage. And with that 30 minutes long "leaked" footage it sure doesn't look good at all.
>>388848606
What was wrong with the DLC?
>>388848148
I wasn't really enthusiastic about the first one. That whole changing location for each mission was really shit.
>>388848723
They are just story explanation with barely any gameplay. You run around hide/avoid enemies. She has best pistol but you only use it for like 5 minutes. It's shit.
>>388848723
Nothing, he's a retard.
>>388848148
that actually looks pretty good
>>388848606
No, the DLCs were actually great. Perfectly captured the mood and atmosphere that the actual game was missing. Go fuck yourself contrarian.
>>388849047
That's because it has a different gameplay style than the main game, to make it feel distinct. The sequel already has tons of shooting and combat; have you been following it?
>>388848148
I thought the gameplay would improve, but watching the leaked videos it seems they're using the same clunky engine.
>>388848148
Giant working saw, don't use it to torn apart the door.
Dropped.
>>388849298
It's confirmed to be a new engine. The clunky controls and movement are done on purpose so you don't feel like a damn superhero; one of the design philosophies of the first game made to make it contrast with recent Resident Evil, such as 5 and 6.
>>388849215
Yeah, no. Keeper dlc is better than this fucking locker hiding simulator. Fuck off.
>>388849250
From what I've seen it is open world now with FO4 tier npc interactions. So I'm not impressed, at all.
>>388849552
>open world
It's not open world. There are linear sections as well as larger areas you can explore.
Why do I keep thinking Mike Patton is involved with this?
>>388849552
>locker hiding simulator
Yeah, no. I played Assignment and am halfway through Consequence, and so far there's only been one mandatory locker hiding. If that's your legitimate opinion, then you must suck at stealth.
First game was a mess. I'm not even sure why they made a sequel. I'll probably just rent it.
Well, it was cool until that goofy monster appeared.
>>388849409
>It's confirmed to be a new engine
Where? this looks like idtech5.
>>388849357
It's trying to tear the door open.
You see a little dent on it after he slams it, that's the indent from the saw
>>388849409
Ye. This is a pretty standard thing to do in survival horror to disempower the player so that threat management isn't about twitch reflexes like in an action game
will they fix the aiming tho
>>388849730
Because he'd provide kino voice acting since he's not a faggot union striker.
>>388850407
What was wrong with the aiming?
>>388850685
everything
>>388850730
I didn't have a problem with it. There was just a LOT of sway.
Shebashtian
>>388850407
They did. Having seen the leeked gameplay it look like they vastly improved how he aims.
>>388849982
The guy who wrote and directed the DLCs is in charge of the sequel. That's enough reason to get it.
t. a guy who couldn't even bother finishing the first game and ended up watching it on YT
>>388848148
that doesn't look like 60FPS at all
>>388851415
Did you enable 60fps?
I don't really know what else to say. That shit is 60fps.
Is there a downloadable demo? Asking for a friend.
>>388851578
Just because the video is at 60FPS it doesn't mean the game itself runs at 60.
I don't think you've played a game at 60FPS before if this looks smooth for you. There are drops all over the place in this video.
>>388848148
That's nice but I'm avoiding gameplay footage so I can play it completely blind. TEW's DLC already convinced me a sequel is worth it.
>>388851765
I don't think so
>>388850685
Aiming at enemies close to you was really terrible.
My biggest hope this time is that they go easy on the instant deaths. The first game was frustrating as fuck at times.
>>388851765
There was an early release version, but it was in closed beta only, maybe if your friend knows where to get his hands on something like this, he could have a fun weekend.
>>388851965
>The first game was frustrating as fuck at times
The only thing I liked it.
